Can I change the owner of an activity?

The short answer is no.

The owner of the activity is the user who created the activity, so this can not be changed manually or via our data imports.

If you wish for an activity to have a different owner then we would suggest for the user to manually create a copy of the existing activity into a new activity. For more information on how to do this, please read our guide Creating a New Activity.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to assign the activity to a different user you can do this by navigating to Activities. Click go > Edit

  1. Navigate to ‘Activities’ in the top menu
  2. Use the appropriate filters to find the activity you wish to re-assign
  3. Click ‘Go’
  4. Click ‘Edit’
  5. Click the ‘Assigned to’ dropdown and choose the user you wish to assign to
