There are two main reasons why contracts might be missing from your dashboards.
The first reason is that the contract is not included in forecasting.
To make sure that the contract is included in forecasting:
- Navigate to Pipeline on the CRM
- Use the Advanced Search box to search for the contract reference
- Click Go > Edit Commissions
- Ensure the ‘Include in Forecasting’ tickbox has been selected
If unticked, this contract will not show in your dashboards
The second thing to check, is the Opportunity Status column. Contracts with an Opportunity Status of N/A will not show on the dashboards.
To change the status:
- Navigate to Pipeline on the CRM
- Use the Advanced Search box to search for the contract reference
- Click Go > Set Deal/Opportunity Status
- Choose a status other than N/A from the opportunity type dropdown
Lastly, you should check that there is either a Supplier payment term or a contract payment term associated with the contract.
- Navigate to Pipeline on the CRM
- Use the Advanced Search box to search for the contract reference
- Click Go > Edit Commissions
- Tick the Payment Term box and ensure that there is a payment term showing
If there is no payment term, the contract will not show within the dashboards.
Please note, there are payment terms that are contract length dependent e.g. Split Remainder (for 36 month + contracts only). If the payment term doesn’t suit the contract length then a forecast will not be generated and the contract will not show within the dashboards.
