Understanding the Go Menu
Learn how to understand the Go menu
Review the video together with the steps outlined below, then use the button provided to continue to the next topic.
- Within the Data Entry & Validation screen, each Batch-level record has it’s own ‘Go’ menu to the right of the row. When clicked, this provides a dropdown with options allowing various actions to be performed against the Batch.
- View Invoices: This takes you to the next screen, where you can review a breakdown of each invoice line contained within your batch.
- Add Bill: This allows you to manually add additional invoice lines to the batch via our Quick Add Batch functionality.
- Auto-Gen Queries: This option automatically creates Activities for any fails against the batch.
- Mark as Complete / Under Query: These allow you to move the batch to either the Under Query or Complete tabs (as applicable) so that you can easily organise the review process of your records.
- New Activity: This allows you to manually create an Activity linked to the batch in question.
- Reset Batch: This option resets any overriden validation results to their original state from when the batch was first parsed.
- Reparse & Reset: This option reparses the batch again, conducting all checks afresh and overriding any previous changes – this is an ideal tool for instances where you have updated your system data in line with billing records.
- Download Original File: Downloads the original billing file (i.e. CSV, XLS, PDF) that you uploaded to create the batch. This option is not available for manual batches created using Quick Add Batch as there is no associated file.
- Delete Batch: Deletes the batch.
- Export Batch: Exports a summary of the batch billing details.
- History & Notes: Shows all changes and notes recorded at batch level. Please note that row-level notes can be found within the History and Notes section of the Go menu in the Invoice Details screen.
