Importing Consumption Data – Half Hourly, Smart Meter And AMR

Learn how to import consumption data.

1. Open your Customer and select ‘Meters’ within the treeview on the left
2. On the meter you wish to import data for, select the blue ‘data’ button on the meter line.
3. On the right-hand side, you’ll see a ‘template’ and an ‘upload consumption data’ button. Some Supplier data is in a format recognisable by our system and can be imported right away.
4. To import data already mapped to our system click the ‘upload consumption data’ button, select ‘supplier’s format’, select your supplier and template, upload your file and import.
5. If your supplier file isn’t mapped, select ‘template’ to download the template for importing your data.
6. Paste your data to the relevant columns, ensure the MPAN and customer name is copied down alongside all rows of data and save the file (keeping it in CSV format).
7. Go to ‘import consumption data’ and select ‘UtilityClick Format’, attach the file and import.
8. Once the data has been imported, it will show on the data screen with a confirmation of the period uploaded.
